Getting interested in other things means that the job hunt is not the be all and end all of your day. It gives you something else that will give you a sense of achievement. This will stop the rejections getting on top of you. It could even be something that earns you a bit of money:

  • Volunteering

  • Art, Design and Photography

    art.gifMaking things can be really calming! This could be anything from painting, sewing, ceramics or knitting. It will help you relax after a day of job hunting!

  • Baking

    cake.gifAfter Masterchef and the Great British Bake off, loads of people are getting into cooking and baking. It can be an expensive hobby, but if you get good at it your friends and family will be able to enjoy your treats! You can even set up a bake club if there isn’t one near you.

  • Learn a Language
